Terms & Conditions

1. Methods of Payment
A) Cash or bankers draft on delivery
B) Cash or bankers draft on completion
C) Personal cheque (if paying by personal cheque the company must have full payment seven days prior to delivery.)

Other terms for payment may be granted by the company from time to time. But they must be in writing and if the buyer should commit a breach of any such item, then the company at its election, without prejudice to any other right it may have, may suspend any further delivery.

2. Shortages or damages should be notified in writing to the company within three days of receipt of the goods.

3. The delivery date quoted is only an approximation and is based on the latest information supplied to the company by our suppliers and thus no exact date or exact time of day can be stipulated for delivery whilst the company will make every effort to effect delivery on the date and place specified, it cannot guarantee to do so, and time is not the essence of the contract.

4. The performance of all contracts in all cases is subject to variation, cancellation and the grant of an extension of time from any cause arising from an act of God, War, Strikes, Lock-outs, Flood, Drought or any other cause of any nature whatsoever beyond the company’s control or owing to inability and time or at all to procure materials or articles except at increased prices distributable to any aforesaid cause.

A)Notwithstanding that the buyer re-selling or otherwise disposing of the goods or any part thereof before the property therein has passed to him by virtue of clause 4A) hereof, the the buyer will, until payment in full to the company of the price of the goods hold in trust for the company all his rights under such contract or resale or any other contract in pursuance of which the goods or any part thereof are disposed of or any contract by which property comprising the said goods or any part thereof is to be disposed of and any monies or other considerations received by him thereunder.

5.Cancelled Order
In the event of the company accepting cancellation the following charges will be made:
A)After technical survey before commencement of manufacture 60% of contract price.
B)After commencement of manufacture 83% of contract price.
C)Documentation fee £100

6.The supply and/or any installation will be carried out in accordance with the written provisions of the contract and the agreed price.

7.The type, specification and arrangement of each and every item of materials used in the product and/or installation shall be as determined by the company. Furthermore the company’s policy is to continue to develop and improve, it therefore reserves the right to vary the design and/or specification of any installation.

8.The company reserves the right to cancel the contract in the light of the surveyors report. Furthermore, the company reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in whole or in part if at any time (whether before or after commencing work on the contract). If it comes to the conclusion that the structure of the property on the land is not suitable for the company’s techniques or part of the contract is performed the company will charge such proportion of the contract price as represents that work actually performed.

9.All electrical gas appliances are excluded from the company’s guarantee and will be subject to any appropriate manufacturer’s reasonable steps to facilitate the customer being able to take advantage of such service and guarantee.

10.The price on the contract overleaf will remain fixed for 13 weeks from the date of the contract. Thereafter the price will be adjusted by the amount shown to be the difference between the price at the date of the contract and the company’s price at the date of delivery.

11.Where required, the installation period quoted is only an approximate guide.

12.Wood is a natural product and colour and grain variations are not a product defect.

13.Although all efforts to replace missing or damaged items will be taken within 5 working days it has been known that some items can take up 20 working days to replace, and the customer must be aware of this.

14.No change or return of goods once signed/ customers do register warranty of goods and appliances
